Rocky Ford, Spring 2000
Dad and I spend two days at Rocky Ford Spring Creek over my Spring Leave. We had a great time, and I saw some of the biggest, and prettiest, fish yet.
These are me with a nice Kamloops rainbow. I caught her on a size 20 gray compara-dun.
These are photos of my dad with a huge Kamloops rainbow. This is the biggest fish I've ever seen in Rocky Ford, let alone seen caught. She bolted downstream, and sent several other flyfisherman packing. He finally managed to land her, only using a Sage LightLine 4 weight and 4x tippet.
