Rocky Ford, Spring 1999
This was my fishing trip over Spring Leave. Dad and I took Jake, a friend from the academy over to Rocky Ford to show him what fly fishing was all about. We all had a great time.

Here is my Dad, the man responsible for my fly fishing success (and success as a whole).

Here he is again, with a really nice Kamloops Rainbow. I think this was caught on about a size 16 or 18 shiny green chironamid.

Here is another one of Mister Flyfish.

Getting the fish ready for recovery.

Off she goes!

Gotcha!

This is Jake, with about a 20" Trout. He caught it on size 14 brassy.

This is me bringing in one of the fish.

They fight hard!

Finally! She was also taken on a brassy. You know, for a hook with copper wire wrapped around it, the brassy sure works well! It is by far my favorite nymphing fly.
