Rocky Ford, Spring 2001

Once again, Rocky Ford was the place to be over spring break!  I couldn't believe how many fish there were, and how big some of them were!  We both caught the biggest, and maybe even the most, fish of any trip yet.

The key is... a cigar.  I caught 3 fish in a row (presumably because they knew I was preoccupied with my Cohiba).

Here's Tim with a monster, and a not-so-monsterous fish...

Ah, the big one.  This beautiful hook-jaw went over 25" and easily over 5lbs.  Look at the colors!

More fish... and a desert photo of Rocky Ford.
